Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I service my car’s air conditioning system?
If you notice weak airflow, unpleasant odours, warm air instead of cold, or unusual noises when using the AC, it’s time to have your system inspected by professionals like AT Technicians.
What are the signs that my vehicle’s air conditioning needs repair?
We recommend servicing your car’s air conditioning system at least once every 12 to 24 months to maintain optimal cooling performance and prevent refrigerant leaks.
Do you offer air conditioning re-gassing for all vehicle makes and models?
Yes, at AT Technicians, we offer re-gassing for most modern and older vehicles, including both R134a and R1234yf refrigerant types, depending on your car’s requirements.
Is air conditioning servicing important during winter months too?
Absolutely. Your car’s AC system helps dehumidify air and clear your windscreen in cold weather, so regular servicing is important all year round.
Can you fix refrigerant leaks or compressor faults on-site?
Yes, our technicians are equipped to diagnose and repair most AC faults including leaks, worn compressors, or blocked condensers, right at our workshop.
How long does a full air conditioning service take?
A typical air conditioning service takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the condition of the system and any additional repairs required.
